about the Mississippi River Valley. I'd like to welcome the the show Dean Clinkenberg from Mississippi Valley traveler.com and

oddly enough Dean has come to talk to us about the Mississippi Valley Dean Dean, welcome to the show.

Well, hi, Chris, it's a pleasure to be here.

Thanks for giving me a chance to come and extol the virtues

of travel along the Mississippi.

Now, you pitched me travel along the Mississippi and I came back with well what's the best

one week itinerary and you're not taking me where I think of when I think of the Mississippi

I think of that long river but I think of the That's true. It's kind of hard to pick one particular stretch along a 2,000 mile

river to highlight, but I think the lower part of the river people have some

familiarity with already because of New Orleans and Memphis and Vicksburg. I think it's

time to talk a little bit more about the upper half of the river and give people

some good ideas on what they can do to get to know that part of the river as well.

Excellent, although I do like that southern part of the river with just those very places

you named.
