Thank you so much for having me.

And it wasn't part of my plan to hit so many U.S. destinations right in a row doing Pittsburgh

and San Francisco and Los Angeles but Wendy pitched me

LA and it had been quite a while since we have done a show we did a two-part

episode on LA oh I don't know years ago ago, eight years ago at least by this point.

So it is about time we went back there.

Wendy, why should someone go to Los Angeles?

It's such an iconic city because of the film and movie industry.

I think people all over the country and even all over the world have seen far more of LA

than they even realize. Famous buildings, parks, shopping centers.

So it's so fascinating how much as LA creeps

into our daily lives, whether or not we know it.

And I would say the other thing is the diversity.

Now, most American cities these days are wonderfully diverse
