talk about the Netherlands.

I'd like to welcome to the show Rachel Heller from Rachel Heller.org and also from the

podcast 1001 Travel Tales and she's coming to talk to us about Northeastern Netherlands.

Rachel, I actually met doing a travel blogger trip.

We met on a tour of religious sites of Athens, Greece.

Yes, it was a wonderful tour.

Yeah.

Now, Rachel, you do not sound like you are Dutch.

I am Dutch, but I grew up in the States and then moved to Holland with my Dutch

husband as people do. As people do. Now you started to say before we started recording this that we're going to talk about Holland, but we're really

not. We're talking about the Netherlands.

Right, right. Now people get very pedantic about this. Holland is actually two of the provinces of the Netherlands,

North Holland and South Holland.

But generally people use the term Holland

for the whole country.
