Which, as before we were talking, does not in any way qualify you to be a true Vermonter is my understanding

Nope it doesn't I think you have to have lived here for several generations to be considered a true Vermonter, parents and then grandparents

and then even some more grandparents.

Well, and I told you the story before we started recording of, I had a roommate in college who was from Northern Vermont up in St. Albans up in as he described at the land of 11 months of winter and one month of poor sledding, who described a woman who died and her obituary

said so and so of New York died at age 80, having lived in Vermont for 79 years.
