Summary

The Amateur Traveler talks to Neil Kristianson about one of his favorite travel destinations Savannah, Georgia. Neil and his wife were drawn to Savannah originally because of the movie and the book “Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil”. They fell in love with the Antebellum architecture, the many public squares, the Southern hospitality and pace, and, strangely enough, with the cemeteries. 0:40.6	if you're looking for cheap travel between cities in the U.S.
0:43.8	especially in the eastern seaboard, you may have one less option as several of the famous
0:49.2	Chinatown bus companies have been shut down. If you're not familiar with these, these are companies that
0:54.2	often operate from one Chinatown to another, and they were shut down in part because of
0:59.1	safety hazards, because it was found the drivers were driving for too long a periods of time.
1:05.1	This was a surprising story until you think about it.
1:07.8	Did you know that you can't dress up as Tinker Bell and then go to Walt Disney World?
1:12.4	One woman found that out the hard way as Disney asked her to change clothes,
1:16.0	but if you think about it, I can understand it from Disney's point of view
1:19.0	because little kids coming up to her are going to think that she's an official character and Disney has no control
1:24.8	over the experience and Disney is all about control. And then lastly speaking of Disney and
1:35.0	I should say ex Disney employee and now Jailbird
1:37.0	stole an iPhone from someone while they were on a Disney cruise line.
1:41.0	How do we know that they did it?
1:43.1	And how did they get caught?
1:44.5	Because they didn't realize that the iPhone
1:46.8	was still broadcasting all of the pictures
