into this week's interview I do have three news stories for you. The first two

are related. Spirit Airlines has just added a $34 fee to buy your tickets online.

So if you don't talk to a person and just use an automated system you'll have to pay 34 more dollars.

Of course they'll also charge you if you call them so you really just have to go to the

airport to try and get something without fees. And by the way that may be related to why Spirit Airlines was just fine

$50,000 for violating federal aviation laws and rules prohibiting deceptive

price advertising in air travel.

They were fined for advertising on Twitter $9 fairs but not mentioning taxes and fees.

And then if you have an Amazon Kindle, especially the kind that has E Inc, not the new Kindle Fire,

you may be interested to know or you should be interested to know that apparently they can be damaged by going through x-ray scanners at

airports. It's not clear what you need to do, possibly leave it at home. We

don't know how common it is but there there have been reports that the E ink Kindle can be damaged by airport x-rays.
