Today the Amateur Traveler talks about forts and pirates and a fountain of youth as we go to St. Augustine, Florida. I'm going to one more cafe.

It's been a while since one of those has come out.

And then in the only real travel story, there was a woman who was

trapped, a Bay Area woman from San Francisco, trapped at SFO for eight days because she lacked a $60 baggage fee. She hadn't traveled in

over five years and she had $30 in her pocket and was not anticipating the

baggage fees. After eight days fortunately the kindness of strangers gave her the money the kindness of

of strangers gave her the money that she needed to pay the fees.
