Amateur Traveler episode 279. Today the amateur traveler talks about beaches,

castles and one or possibly two countries as we go to Cyprus. We're going to Cyprus. I got to sit in one more cafe.

I know that I should be heading home, but maybe not, maybe not today. Welcome to the Amateur Traveler. I'm your host Chris Christensen. Before we get

into this week's interview I do have three news stories for you. A drunk man at

JFK told a ticket agent I'm bin Laden and I have a bomb.

I believe his defense will be too soon.

And then in something that was not soon enough, someone has finally sent a tweet has used

Twitter from the top of Mount Everest so apparently no place is safe. But in

technology news that is good news for those of us here in the United States

apparently chip and pin credit cards are coming to the US and that is good news in

that they are more secure and also double good news for people who are travelers because you may find that your current

credit card won't work in all automated systems outside the U.S.
