Welcome to the Amateur Traveler, I'm your host Chris Christensen. I don't have any

news stories for this particular episode because I'm recording this a little bit ahead

of time so we're going to just go right into the interview but it's no interview today but

instead I'm going to be telling you about a recent trip down the Ryan River on an

Avalon cruise ship and we'll just get the disclosure out of the way ahead of time.

As you may recall, I had been, at least before I went to Tripadvisor,

reselling Avalon Cruises as part of reselling Globus Tours.

And this was a fam trip that I went on so it's a heavily discounted trip

so that I could talk about it and obviously we went on it because one they were giving

us a discount but two because it was something that sounded interesting.

And this particular cruise that we went down is again on the Rhine River from Basel to Amsterdam,

and I'll be talking a little more detail as we go along about where we stopped.
