Amateur Traveler episode 174. Today the amateur traveler goes to

southern Mexico to the land of chocolate and moly to Wahaka. I'm going to see one more cathedral.

I've got the city one more cafe.

I know that I should be heading home,

but maybe not, maybe not today.

Before we get into today's interview I do have two news stories for you.

You may have heard the first one, the Las Vegas mayor has demanded an apology

from president Obama because president Obama said regarding the economic

crisis to the bankers you can't get corporate jets you can't go take a trip to Las Vegas or go down to the

Super Bowl on the taxpayer's dime. And the mayor says that that has caused grievous harm to his city.

I don't think so.

The other story that caught my eye,

Airbus has unveiled a design for a plane that includes bunk beds.

I haven't seen a picture but I'm envisioning

something like train compartments that have pulled down bunk beds. I for one would

be much more comfortable on a trans-oceanic flight if I could lie down flat. For links to both of those stories
