cathedral. I got to sit in one more cafe. I know that I should be heading home, but maybe not, maybe not

Welcome to the Amateur Traveler. I'm your host Chris Christensen. I have just one news story

for you today and that's an interesting one according to a study by

Forrester research who is one of the leading technology consulting firms in the

U.S. 9% fewer people book travel online this year than did in 2005.

While all other online e-commerce markets are growing,

the travel online industry seems to be shrinking.

Not exactly sure why the The people who are buying

online are buying more, but fewer people are doing it. Although this makes some

sense with other studies I've seen that say the use of travel agents is actually on the rise again.

It's probably just our busy schedules, but I'd be curious to hear why you think this may be the case.
