On Talk Radio. Good morning, welcome to the Independent Republican Mike Graham with just two days to go until Christmas.

And clearly no chance of the festive cup being dashed from our lips as we prepare for the big day.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, is it?

Not really.

If it wasn't for all the decorations of the freezing weather, I don't think I'd even know.

The only reason I know it's Christmas is because I walk past a load of Christmas tree

and you think to yourself, well, somebody's put them up for a reason.

There doesn't appear to be much festive cheer out there on the streets. There doesn't appear to be anybody shopping in any of the shops, which is a bit weird.

It doesn't seem to be anybody drinking in any of the pubs.

It doesn't seem to be anybody eating in any of the restaurants.

Apart from that, it's going to go really well.

Apparently the hospitality business is going to be rescued to two of a billion pounds by Rishi Sunat,

even though they're saying that's not really enough. It's far too little.

It's far too late.

Thanks to Chris Whitty, everybody has already gone home and decided not to come back out again.

If you live in Wales, of course, you get fined if you go out.
