more. Our new class of astronaut candidates are about to graduate. The 2021 astronaut, who have been dubbed the flies,

spent the last two years undergoing training

as astronaut candidates, practicing for space walks

in the neutral buoyancy laboratory, flying in T38 jets, space station familiarization, learning

the Russian language, and more.

That training is almost complete and they'll be eligible for assignments to future missions,

whether to the International Space Station in low Earth orbit, or to walk on the

lunar surface through Artemis missions.

Ahead of their graduation, I had a chance to interview all of the flies, both NASA and United Arab

Emirates astronauts.
