Summary

0:08.3	fate, and a number of other things in a casual conversation. So, hey, Lisa. Thanks for joining.

0:15.0	Yeah. All right. So, yeah, so we're going to have a casual discussion today. I mentioned on the forecast episode, you know, I've been trying to thinking about and heading
0:26.0	in the direction of doing some episodes talking about my philosophy of astrology and my
0:33.0	sometimes like spiritual views on astrology because so much of my work is focused on the
0:37.2	technical aspects
0:38.5	that I sometimes don't emphasize or like talk about that point a lot, some of the philosophical
0:44.6	implications that I truly think that astrology has. So I thought we'd have a conversation
0:49.8	talking about some of that today and talking a little bit about our journey as astrologers
0:55.6	and some of the different things that we've, ways that we've changed and grown as astrologers
1:00.7	and different things that we've learned over the years.

1:04.3	Right up my alley as a Sagittarian.

1:08.4	So, yeah, where should we start? So one of the things we were talking about,
1:15.2	one of the things I said in my book that I argued is I think that astrology, that Hellenistic astrology,
1:23.6	and by extension, Western astrology, which is originally developed as a system for studying fate.
1:30.8	And part of what that means is that they discovered that you could cast a chart for the birth of an individual
1:38.6	and look at the alignment of the cosmos at that moment.
