In this episode I'm going to be interviewing astrologer Kirk Little and we're going to be talking about astrology as divination and especially discussing the life and work of the astrologer Jeffrey Cornelius who just passed away recently and so we wanted to do an episode to talk about the impact of his work to discuss and sort of celebrate his life and his life contributions. So hey Kirk, thanks for joining me today.

0:45.7	Yeah, so let's talk about this in terms of I'm trying to figure out where to start, but you were the person that reached out to me a couple of weeks ago to let me know that that Jeffrey had passed away and you're somebody who was somewhat close to him in terms of working with him and helping to, I saw you
0:56.9	as sort of like an expositor to exposit some of his thesis that he put forward in
1:01.4	his 1994 book, The Moment of Astrology, where his central thesis was that he argued that astrology was divination.
1:08.0	And I had interviewed him about that book before, almost 10 years ago in 2015 and I just recently re-released that this week.
1:17.2	But about a year ago, Gary Philipson reached out to me and said that he that Jeffrey wanted me to interview you about a website that you have called Cosmo Critic, which is focused on talking about astrology as divination and that was actually one of the last communications that I had from Jeffries.
1:38.8	So part of what I want to do today is to talk about you and to sort of fulfill that last request
1:45.2	that he had to me.
1:46.8	Yeah, so let me know, so tell me and tell the audience who you are and what's your
1:51.1	background.
1:52.1	So who am I? I'm Kirk Little. I am an astrologer. I have been an astrologer since 1980 and I entered astrology in a very interesting way, I think.
2:06.0	In 1971, I was an undergraduate at the University of Illinois,
2:10.0	hitching home from college, yes, long hair, you know, thumb out, got picked up by a young woman,
2:14.8	probably a couple years older than myself.
2:17.4	And she said to me, oh, are you a son in cancer? And'm like you mean my son's side and she said yes and I said yeah yeah and I said how did you know that and she said well just by looking at you, she said, are you Scorpio Ryzic?
2:35.4	And I said, I don't know, I have no idea what you're talking about.
2:39.0	She said, well, what time were you born?
2:41.0	I said, well, 244 in the afternoon. Well, where are're born? I said well 24 in the afternoon but where are you born in Chicago?
