It's the end now of 2021, the beginning of

2022. And just a few moments ago, it's not yet 2022. A dear colleague named Paul Young came into my office and handed me a Christmas card.

And in the Christmas card is the picture of a stunningly beautiful young lady.

She's 16 years old, as the back of the card indicates now, and her name is Elise.

And she is Snowflake Number 94.

I was doing the Bible Answer Man broadcast many years ago, and someone asked me a question about

whether life begins at conception or not.

And I pointed out that life begins when a sperm cell in one human being fertilizes an egg

and another human being.

And then I pointed out the majesty of that fertilized human egg, that zygote,

that doesn't have a fully developed personality, obviously,

but has full personhood from the moment of conception.

At any rate, listening into my conversation

on the Bible Instrument broadcast that day,

a couple decided that they would adopt a frozen embryo.

This short is too short to go into all the details,

but the bottom line was they did that.

It arrived, I think, via FedEx,

implanted into the womb,

the wonderful woman named Chris, who now brought to full term a baby.

And I had the privilege of meeting that baby when she was very, very little.
