0:23.8	And we've heard from Pastor Louis, you've heard from Pastor Grant,
0:26.0	my privilege to be able to bring the Word of God to us this morning.
0:29.1	And we have been diving in into Acts chapter 3 and Acts chapter 4.
0:34.2	And if I can recap just a second, we see in Act chapter three, we see Peter and John on
0:39.4	their way to the temple, and they see a guy who has been lame since he was born. And he's asking
0:45.5	him for silver and gold. He's asking for money. And Peter and John say, silver and gold,
0:50.1	we do not have, but what I have to you, I give to you in the name of Jesus, get up and walk. And this guy who had been on the floor all this time gets up and walk.
0:57.4	It's a miracle.
0:59.5	Then they go out and then they preach the word of God and they start proclaiming who he is.
1:05.3	They preach the gospel.
1:07.2	And then the authorities hear about it.
1:09.1	The authorities don't like it.
1:10.6	And so what the authorities do, they arrest Peter and John, they bring him in, they trial them, they threaten them, and they tell them this.
1:19.0	They say, we will release you if you do this one thing.
1:22.2	Never speak on the name of Jesus again.
1:25.6	Like again, go about your way, go about your life, but do not speak about the name of Jesus again. Like again, go about your way, go about your life, but do not speak
1:30.6	about the name of Jesus again. And we heard that over the last few weeks and then here we are
1:37.5	today. And today I want to look out what a peer and John do after they get this threat from the authorities tell them to never speak
1:47.1	on the name of Jesus again. Heavenly Father, I pray right now for your spirit to be in this place.
