Summary

Astonishing Legends makes digital media and internet history with our first ever "live" YouTube streaming event! Frankly, we weren't sure any of it would work, so we really didn't announce we'd be doing it, but we thought it might be a fun way to interact with our listeners and answer some of their questions in a text chat stream, all while doing our usual rambling, digressing, and nervous stammering. We really appreciate our audience, so we hope you enjoy it. Depending on how much "flame mail we get, we might even try it again sometime!

Tonight's Quote:

"The internet is the first thing that humanity has built that humanity doesn’t understand, the largest experiment in anarchy that we have ever had."

— Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman of Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google.

And we're back. We're the foray into something completely different.

We hope everyone in the States anyway had a nice Thanksgiving holiday, and tonight we're

trying out something new that you'll find out about in short order.

Okay, let's get it going.

And join us tonight for the first show that we've ever done that was actually streamed

This is an experiment. We only barely know what we're doing here, so we didn't make a

1:11.6

big announcement about this prior to doing it. Don't be mad if you didn't know about

1:15.6

it. If this works, we'll be doing it again, and as a listener, you'll know about it well

1:19.6

in advance.

We streamed this episode live on our YouTube channel yesterday and took questions via

1:25.9

a chat from listeners who joined us. We only announced it on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram,

1:31.8

so if you're not one of our followers on those platforms, you wouldn't have heard about

1:35.2

it. We did that because there was more than a fair chance that the entire thing would

1:39.2

crash and burn. Oddly, it worked. So we hopped into the studio today to record this

1:44.7

intro and a few other things so we could finish out the live event and make it into a proper

1:49.0

episode. Our idea was to have a general discussion and take questions from listeners via
