We are here on Wednesday, November the 6th. It is 1211, as I am speaking right now.

And you know the story. Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris. It wasn't close. I guess we still have some straggling states out there, but it certainly seems like all the swing states swung in one direction towards Donald Trump. There were more Senate losses than we expected, although it seems like some of the senators in the swing states held out.

You know, one of the many, I'm not sure I'd call it an irony, just surprises of this campaign

cycle is that I think a year ago ago or, you know, sometime early in

2024, if you were to have said of the, you know, contested Senate races, who's the one

who's definitely going to be reelected and who's the most doubtful?

I think you'd probably say that Ruben Gallego was the most touch and go. I mean, of the

people who were kind of, you know, credible candidates. And Casey in Pennsylvania was the one like,

he's not going to lose. That's a, you know, that's a safe seat. And it was the opposite.

Casey lost. Sherrod Brown lost, but that was not, you know,

that's not shocking. We knew that was a very touch and go race. And look, the whole thing is

shocking on many levels. And I know probably many of you will be listening to this sometime the afternoon on Wednesday, trying to get your bearings, trying to get a sense of what happened, what did you miss?
