The twins return home from a 5-1 road trip,

and anybody who listens to the Patreon podcast,

know we spent a decent amount of time after,

on Monday's episode, basically basically saying it's great that

you won five out of six in Texas and Arizona but now unlike other times they've had good

stretches like this in the season you have to avoid backsliding completely from that and

that was made difficult by the fact that they're facing the best team in baseball

in the Dodgers. And in fact, we saw they returned with a big old thud and got swept by the Dodgers

two competitive games and then the middle game just got blown out in kind of a bullpen situation.

But that means they cross over now. they're officially into the second half of

the season i know in baseball we tend to talk about that with like the all-star break but the reality is

the all-star breaks like 60-something percent of the way through the season so right now they are 38 and 44

they've played one game of the second half in terms of the schedule.
