Projection for the seller cap lowering it to

115 million from the previous projection of 116 million and the luxury tax projection has been lowered from

141 million to 139 million

The implication is that part of that is due to loss revenue from the league's issues in China

Where they are still not back on Chinese state TV unclear whether there could be a further decrease coming next year

If that state of affairs were to continue because maybe for example, they got paid all of their money already for this year and

I'm not sure what the timing of those payments is whether it's gonna come back etc

But this is really gives a little bit less headroom now for teams this off season whether it's trying to use cap space

Whether it's trying to stay below the apron if you want to do a sign in trade or use your full-med level exception or whether you want to just not have to pay as much money in

Tax teams like Brooklyn the Warriors could see maybe the Clippers going into the tax the

Sixers the Celtics there are some teams that are looking like containers bucks

Prepeachially dodging the tax as well rockets where even that slight decrease could affect the wiggle room that they have
