Boxing used to rival the NBA and the NFL in terms of popularity sports illustrated, but

boxers on the cover regularly.

That changed not because the talent disappeared, but because they became this idea that the

best way to have success is to keep a perfect record and avoid any and all challenges.

To make sure it's Andrade very easily could have been fighting Jermal Charlo to 30 something

American undefeated heavyweight champions.

And maybe that wouldn't have resonated in the way that Leonard Hagler did in the 1980s.

But if there had been, if that had been signed and there had been a proper buildup, you

would have heard about it.

You would have noticed that this fight was happening and probably would have watched

this fight happening.

But unfortunately, all we talk about in boxing nowadays are fights that don't get made

and that is just squeezing the ever living life out of the score.
