My name's Louise Robertson and I'm a journalist based at BBC Scotland in Glasgow. And today I'm

joined by. I'm Lindsay Buse, a journalist based at the Scottish Parliament. Nick Hurley at

Westminster. Phil Sim, also at the Scottish Parliament.

I'm Anne Nisbet from the Citizens Assembly Scotland in Glasgow.

And I'm Ian Davidson. I'm the Secretary to the Citizens Assembly.

Anne Matt Cox is our producer today in the box, as always.

Now, you might remember last year with a bit of fanfare,

Nicholas Sturgeon announced plans for a citizen's assembly.

It got a bit lost amid the madness of Brexit in the election perhaps at the end of last year,

but the Assembly has now already reached its halfway point.

So we figured we'd find out what they've been up to and how it's going and if, in fact, they're getting anywhere.

So that is why Anne and Ian are here today, so welcome both of you.
