Hi guys, I'm back.

You might remember me from Ask 47. Rent where you want to live and buy elsewhere for investment.

Well so far so good. We are now relocated from Australia and happily renting in our favourite part of London.

My new question in a few cheeky parts is I'm thinking of going down the route of buying without a mortgage.

Therefore I'm keen to get your views on the minimum purchase price for investment.

Or another way of looking at it, how many properties can I get for $2.20.

As I'm more focused on capital growth, I'm leaning towards houses over apartments.
