Hi Robin Rob this is Tom calling with a question about perhaps taking the big plunge

into going into property full time, I am in a fortunate position where I currently selling a property that has gone up a lot in value over the years and is going to give me a sizable chunk of money

And it's making me really want to kind of quit the day job.

I'm currently a teacher and really go into property full time, into property development

and developing properties to rent them out or also maybe even doing some flips of properties as well.

cash will allow me to move quite quickly in those different areas. I guess the

question for me is if I was a set up a limited company for this business, first of all, would you recommend

doing that?

If it was just me on my own, I had no other source of income, would you recommend doing

this all through a limited company? And what would the benefits of that be?

Second thing is obviously if I was to quit my day job and I set up a limited company and I had this money and I went and bought a house but I refurbished it and I wanted to refinance it on a mortgage.

Would I be able to get one because I wouldn't be earning any money from an actual salaried position.
