Today we're going to talk about how you write a customer contract.

The first thing, and this is the ass, Sean, we do this every Friday, these are pretty quick.

But somebody, you know, the question was, you know, how do I write up a customer contract?

Well, it depends what it is.

Typically, it's a service company if you're doing a customer contract.

If it's a product, it's in fact a warranty.

But this is the key thing.

I want you to understand.

Anything in it needs to protect you the company.

Okay?

I mean, even if it's a product warranty, you have to, what statistically are we able to do?

We had a product and we could have warrantied it for five years.

But we warrantied it for two.

Why?

Because two years gave us a lot less liability than five years.

So even though marketing it, you know, for five years sounds good, you're going to have to back that up.

So when you do warranties and contracts, they need to be really thought out.

And they need to, I mean, it sounds great in theory.

We want to, we love our customers.

We want to protect them.
