0:00.0 | On today's episode of the podcast, I answer a beautifully phrased question about how I envision my dream birth. |
0:11.0 | So we talk about everything from birth playlists to all the intricate details of what a dream of this labor actually would look like. |
0:24.0 | Who is there and what time of day is it and where am I, what position am I in, what am I eating afterwards, all these details and takes us into an interesting place of talking about manifestation and that balance between visualizing the dream of what we want while still remaining completely open to anything that might come our way. |
0:51.0 | Thank you for being here with me for this really special time. |
0:58.0 | Let's jump in. |
1:03.0 | Hello everyone! Hello, hello, welcome to a brand new episode of From the Heart with Rachel Brayton. |
1:13.0 | I hope you are doing well. I'm doing really well today. I'm sitting here with my feet up on a chair. My feet are really swollen, you know, that kind of like end of pregnancy. |
1:27.0 | Very unattractive swollen. I almost have a hard time putting my shoes on. I just need to have my feet up on something at all time. Very, very classic and cliché. |
1:40.0 | And I'm balancing the microphone and the microphone stand on my belly right now. My belly is officially too big for me to be able to sit at a normal table the way I normally record. I can't lean forward far enough to reach the mic. |
1:57.0 | So I have the microphone. It's kind of balancing on my belly. Ringo is by my side and it's a beautiful day so far here. |
2:09.0 | I am really excited to record this episode because if you are listening to this or it's funny that I'm sharing now how incredibly pregnant I am and balancing the mic on my belly and everything. |
2:22.0 | Because if you're listening to this right now, like the moment or the day it was released, it most likely means that I either very recently gave birth or it means I'm in labor right now. |
2:37.0 | Which is just so bizarre and strange to even think about. So I decided I wanted to do a really solid episode to save. |
2:47.0 | You know, because you never know when babies decide to show up. Normally I record on a Wednesday or a Thursday and the show comes out on a Friday. So it's always in the moment, you know, a day or a couple days right before the show releases that record. |
3:00.0 | But this baby might make an entrance right at that time, which would of course make it completely impossible for me to pick up a microphone and talk to you. |
3:10.0 | So I decided to record this episode and save it for the week when baby arrives. |
3:17.0 | But it's a funny thought. Just like this. You're listening to this and I might be a mom of two. I don't know. |
3:28.0 | I don't know. Nobody knows. Holy moly. Anyway, I am starting to get close enough to the very, very end of pregnancy that I'm a little bit nervous. |
3:43.0 | Feeling lots of movements in my womb and also butterflies. Like I feel those emotional butterflies as I feel this wild little man. |
3:55.0 | He's just so active. I feel like he's really getting more and more active the closer I get to the end of pregnancy, which just feels so beautiful. |
4:05.0 | And yeah, I'm just really ready to meet him. |
4:09.0 | So today my darlings we are going to do a segment of ask Rachel, which as you know is one of my favorite favorite things to record here on the show. |
