It's Friday, January 26th, 2024, and this Friday is a little different. I'll tell you more in just a few moments.

0:16.3

Before I tell you what we're doing a little different today, I just want to give you an update on a story we've been following all week and that comes out of Texas.

Now, 25 governors from across the country, all of them Republicans have signed onto a joint letter

0:29.6

voicing their support for one Governor Greg Abbott of Texas in his battle bucking the White House, Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security,

0:38.1

doing what he can, at least for now, to secure certain sections of the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas.

1:41.2

and that's the final word, even though the courts themselves may violate the Constitution. Now, what Governor Abbott here is doing is not necessarily

1:48.3

rebelling against that Supreme Court ruling from earlier this week. That ruling just said

1:52.8

that Biden administration could cut that razor wire, but we are creeping up on that moment,

1:57.2

and I hope Texas will follow through, especially with all of this outpouring of support

2:01.5

from Republican governors across the country. Anyway, what we're going to do today is something I like

2:06.6

to call ask or tell me anything. I've been wanting to do something like this for quite a while,

2:11.5

just building some engagement, getting to know some of the listeners of this podcast. And last
