Well, first we have Sasha Moore 70, who wants to know how you break down a scene before shooting it. How does Mick Garris break down a

scene? I usually break down a week, usually on the weekend before shooting. Well, first of all,

if you get any chance to rehearse with your actors before production begins, that's a luxury

that you rarely have,

especially on a television schedule.

But even in a feature film schedule,

scenes are not shot together where part of your cast is available

and part of it is not.

Sometimes you don't even have locations locked out.
