Is it true that women require more sleep? And if so, why is that? Oh, great questions. So there are definitely some fascinating

differences in sleep between males and females. Sleep, as everyone knows from this podcast, it's a fundamental physiological process,

and your sleep is going to be shaped by various factors, factors including age, lifestyle factors,

environmental factors, things like temperature, and your genetics, for example, too. But an often overlooked influence is

the biological factor of sex and the sex of an individual. And here, as it's done in biology,

I'll refer to that as male or female. So let me address whether or not females require more

sleep than males. And I'll try to break it
