do you navigate the many projects that come your way what's the difference between a pass and a yes

first of all it's all about the originality of the concept for me and the originality of the

character for the artist i like to to think about that when I'm looking at anything.

And the thing is it doesn't mean that a project can't be successful

because I think it's not as original as something else.

I mean, like somebody came to me the other day with

a project about you know people smoking weed and telling stories when they're high or whatever and

so that weed concept is just like you know yeah i liked it when it was drunk history you know it's

just like i i don't but if there is something

that's a character that we haven't seen on television or a show that we haven't seen on television

i kind of like that or in film of a a story that just seems so unique and original and the twist i'm always a big fan of that

and i love that and so that doesn't mean that uh when you watched planes trains and automobiles

and then he watched chris farley and david and to and Tommy Boy that doesn't mean I can't enjoy both

movies and I can't think both movies are great but you know they're they're very similar in a lot of

ways a lot of ways and so you know if somebody was like me they might not have developed in tommy boy

but i believe that it's something that um you know for me i like to have that feeling of originality

and uniqueness and that fresh feeling for a character, for a role, for something.
