I have an adult child who asks me if she needs a credit card and I told

her yes to establish credit, but I'm happy to take back that advice. The establishing credit thing is a bit of a,

yeah, it's kind of like this dirty game that people feel like they have to play.

There's a podcast episode where I interview Ben B and he's never had a credit card and he is a homeowner, actually borrowed money to buy his home, now the home's paid off, but he never did the whole credit card, credit score thing.
