Hello, whinabers. My name is Jesse Meek, I'm with another episode of the

whinab podcast and I'm here each week to obsess, out loud about spending

purposefully, saving aspirationally, and even giving joyfully, generously,

strategically. It all comes down to just four, these four little simple rules, these habits,

principles, axioms. I don't know what we're going to call them.

Maybe we'll just call them lots of different things. I'm going to do some ask

Jesse's because I am behind. Anna writes that an article popped up basically saying that credit card

debt is a new record and yeah it is.

I don't know if it's that a new record adjusted for inflation, to be honest.

I think I read something that said if you adjust it for the value of the dollar going down or a dollar not being worth as much

or whatever, you know know whatever it is that

actually it's still not at peak but I mean are we comparing worse and worse or you

know as the kids would say perhaps.

Jared writes I recently listened to your money, your podcast money is not a tool and teaching about the love of money, not being the root of all evil.

Money is a reflection of you and he said he was skeptical at first but he said

we've recently made the switch and stopped using credit cards oh so he just he

made he switched topics on me here he said he was first skeptical and then he found himself listening to

atomic habits by James Clear. We had James on the podcast a while ago. He was a

delight and his thoughts on identity-based habits. He makes the statement that your current behavior

are simply a reflection of your identity and Jared I like Jarrett because he's like I'm

still pondering this idea but I see the connection. Huh, yeah, I like that.
