Hello, Wine Abbers. My name is Jesse Meekam with another episode of the Wine Ab podcast,

and I'm here each week to obsess out loud about spending purposefully, saving aspirationally,

and giving joyfully. It all comes down to just giving every dollar a job.

Today we're going to, I titled this, the 2025 Ask Jesse, not to imply that I will only do it once this year, really, because I misnamed it.

And it should have been the 2024 asked Jesse because we're going back to May of 2024.

Richard says, I've been using wine-up for many years and

have used it to help my wife and I obtain a comfortable position with our savings. Remember

everyone's savings is just future spending. It's allowed us to pay for my late mother's utilities

and legal costs following her passing in August 2023, which we haven't yet been reimbursed from her estate as yet.

We have some superannuation, but I'd like to find some advice for an Australian market that follows the wine and principles.

I'll be honest, in Australia, we are not so present.

You would do best, Richard, to go, like, hop on Reddit and ask.

I will say a couple of things.

I don't know how a state stuff works here in the U.S., let alone in Australia.

When you said superannuation, I did know it was Australia, but I still don't know a ton

about that either.

I will say, I am glad that you were able to cover those costs and want to note for everyone that sometimes living spendfully

doesn't mean all of your money is going to exactly what you wish in this case obviously but a stressful situation

like a loved one's passing doesn't also need to have financial stress layered on top and that is the

win richard as far as australian advice goes i would i would jump on red at first and see they're
