Have you ever had a problem that you could not figure out? That's like asking if you have a pulse. It is part of life to face things that are hard to understand, let alone solve. That's a good time to pray at least three words: "Give me understanding." The words, "give me understanding" appear five times in Psalm 119. 0:58.8	significant that five times in one book of the Bible, this is mentioned, in one chapter, no less.
1:06.6	Psalm 119 is loaded anyway, but give me understanding is a theme throughout this chapter of the Bible.
1:14.6	And I'm going to mention each one, and then I'll say a little bit after I read the verse for us.
1:20.4	And then in closing, we'll just close with a verse that we can actually use as a prayer request.
1:25.0	But here's our first, give me understanding.
1:29.9	Psalm 119, verse 34 says, give me understanding. Psalm 119 verse 34 says,
1:37.4	give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law. Yay, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Wow,
1:48.2	that is a powerful request. It is a prayer and it is the truth. Give me understanding. And then what happens? And I shall keep their law. Because you know what happens when we understand the word of God? We want to live it.
1:53.5	We want to walk it out. It becomes a part of the fabric of our lives. God makes it make sense.
2:04.6	Things that don't make sense to us in our own human reasoning makes sense to us when God takes over and transforms us by the renewing of our minds. Give me
2:11.9	understanding and I shall keep thy law. Yay, I shall observe it with my whole heart. We not only purpose in our hearts then
2:21.1	to walk in God's ways, but then we want to observe it wholeheartedly. We're all in. We're like,
2:27.8	okay, Lord, it's me and it's you, and we're going to do this. We're going to walk out this Christian life
2:32.8	genuinely, intentionally. We are in this to win this. We're going to do this. We're going to walk out this Christian life genuinely, intentionally.
