on that question, but I guess the first question I have for you is, how did you become someone

who was sharing gardening information instead of just growing in your backyard and letting

Right, and I guess, I mean, to step back a little bit, I guess it started when I decided

to go back to school for horticulture.

At that time, I was going through a bit of a life shift change becoming a mom and having

a kid and having to decide whether I really wanted to go back to my office job that I wasn't

excited about, because if I wanted to be away from my son, it should be something meaningful.

And at that time, my office job was not that meaningful.

And so what were you doing back then?

I was working in IT at Arcterics, which is based out of North Vancouver, which is where

I live.

That's the first rain jacket I ever had.

I bought one from REI for $70, which I think is pretty cheap for Arcterics, and went to

New Zealand and wore it the whole time I was in New Zealand.
