This is from Derek from Massachusetts. Hey, Charlie, I heard you say to Ben Shapiro that you like Teddy Roosevelt. I was told that he was an awful progressive president. Can you please elaborate? Thanks so much. Happy to. Like with all leaders, some historical figures do things we really like and sometimes they do things that we do not like.

I've always loved Teddy Roosevelt. Glenn Beck, who's a friend of mine and I have a lot of respect for Glenn Beck, makes Teddy Roosevelt almost public enemy number one of, and he argues that it is

the beginning of the progressive movement. Ben Shapiro in his book was awfully critical of Teddy

Roosevelt. Teddy Roosevelt, I think it's an unfair

and really bad rap amongst conservatives. And you actually dive deep into what Teddy Roosevelt
