Summary

In what will become a regular feature of the BreakPoint Podcast, John Stonestreet and Shane Morris answer your questions.

This week: What about SOGI laws, and what's the problem with Christians doing business with sinners? Besides praying and educating, how to Christians turn the tide of what seems to be a Marxist-inspired revolution in our country?  How are we to pray for the sick and dying when asked to--what about "Thy will be done?"

To submit your questions to John and Shane for  upcoming episodes, visit us on Facebook or contact us through BreakPoint.org.

I'm Shane Morris. Welcome to the Breakpoint podcast. This week we've got a special treat for you. John, I'm going to let you tell our listeners about it.

0:08.0

Well, it's a new segment, a new segment each and every week on the Breakpoint podcast. I don't know what we should call it.

0:13.0

Like, should we call it Ask Breakpoint or Ask John and Shane or whatever.

That was actually taken back in the day. Fun story from the Colson Archives. When I first came on with the Colson Center, I found on the website this abandoned little section called Ask Breakpoint. And it was full of messages from people who had questions for Chuck Colson. But of course, it had for some reason fallen by the wayside after a few answers. So I took a shot at drafting some answers to some of these great questions. And it it ended up on Chuck's desk and he said, well, this is great. We've got to put this

0:41.1

up on the website. So we revived Ask Breakpoint at that point as a written feature. But we want to

0:46.4

revive it here as a spoken feature because we get so many great questions from our listeners now,

as we did then. And so... Yeah, we do. And we've been answering those questions at the end of the breakpoint this

week podcast segment. And I just thought, you know what?

We're each week we get to about two or something like that.

1:02.9

But we always have so many more questions that come either through email or by phone

1:07.8

or even letter. We still get letters. We still get typed letters with questions,

1:11.9

but of course social media as well.

1:13.8

And if you want to join this conversation,

1:16.2

if you want to ask any questions to us,

1:19.7

you know, based on a breakpoint commentary that you hear

1:21.6

or something that Shane and I talk about,

1:23.5

go to Facebook.

1:24.4

Follow us on Facebook.

1:25.6

You can send the question there or go to our website. There's a contact us page and you can send those questions through there. We've got some really good ones to talk about this week. Yeah, John, I combed through the questions. There were dozens of great questions, but the ones that I picked out here to talk about really are just the ones that hit the controversial issues.

1:44.9

So the first today has to do with the issue of religious freedom and Soji laws.

1:49.3

And it's something we talk about a lot here on the program.

1:51.4

But I'll just read the listener's question here because it'll prompt an interesting conversation.
