Today we are dedicated to this thought.

We can come boldly to Jesus with any issue in our life.

We can come boldly.

The scripture beckons us, dramatically calls us.

It says this, let us then with confidence draw near to God's great throne of grace.

Why?

So we can receive mercy and grace to help us in our time of need.

Confidence can be so fickle because often I base it almost completely on my own performance,

good or bad.

But the confidence the scripture speaks of here

is firmly anchored to the perfect performance of Jesus

when he absorbed in his body our error our wrong and our sin so that we

could be cleared covered forgiven and free so now we're right.

We're perfect and we're pure before God because of the performance of Jesus.

And with that, the air is cleared.

And now when we come to this place of prayer, we come with a boldness and a strength and a zeal and a confidence and a vigor.

Because of what Jesus has done. So what is it, friend? Ask and ask boldly. What big, grand, awesome thing do you want from God today?

Say it. Speak it.

Ask for it.

Dream wildly.

Dream big.

Dream largely.
