from BBC Gardeners World magazine, and we're going to talk about plants for tricky places. Stay tuned

We are going to be talking about plants for tricky places. Now, I don't know about you,

there's always the odd area in my garden where I struggle. Surely you've got one or two places

in your garden, have you, which are a bit problematic. Every place is tricky if you put the wrong plant in it.

That's what's key.

And, you know, the theory is that there's a plant for every single place.

And the answer, obviously, is to find the right plant for the right place.

But there are areas where the list of plants that will grow that is reduced, you know, very dry soil, very shady soil.

And a combination of the two is perhaps the hardest one to fill, the dry shade.

But there are plants that will tolerate such conditions.

And the key is to look for plants which grow in that sort of situation quite naturally

and hopefully we'll be able to come up with some answers for all kinds of tricky places.
