Okay guys welcome back. Really glad to have you here. You have probably observed some

inconsistencies with the podcast and with social media just to circle the wagons because

we've really been through a tough time and we appreciate the understanding. We're going

to ask for your help moving forward. In this episode we're going to ask you for understanding

and for empathy and we want to also say we are so thankful for all of you for listening.

That kind of support means more to us than you'll probably ever know. So it's it comes

to me to say that and to share with all of you what we've been dealing with and I have

decided to uncouple from Ashlyn. That was really scared to say but that's my that's the that's

the statement. Okay. The purpose behind this the reason for this is as a human who's been

as an individual who has gone through recovery who is still focused on recovery and growth. This

is the next step of growth for me in my life and the really really challenging thing is it's far

reaching effects for Ashlyn for girls Brandon all of you we appreciate the the support that we've

had and we don't know what's going to look like moving forward we'll get into that but I just want

you guys to know there's most importantly for me from my perspective this is not because of relapse

whether that's porn infidelity whatever that's not what this is but by virtue of working the

recovery skills that I've acquired just worked really hard to to get to it's been a this is the best

this is the right decision for me I'll be at painful but I did in in effort to speak my truth

into share it I did so abruptly and in a super traumatic way to Ashlyn and actually do have

real regrets on how that went down

so I know that I've caused you enormous amounts of pain in the girls and there's no easy way to do

this at all but I just want you guys to know that's one of the reasons why you've seen Ashlyn just

circle the wagons is because she's just taking care of herself because I drop this abruptly and
