Ashland, how are you doing today?

I am good. How are you?

I'm good. And I guess I didn't say my name I probably should yes my name is quin Eton

handling this episode solo usually would be Shelby and myself Shelby's a great interviewer but today it's just me and you

Ashland so I hope that's okay. I'll take it I'm ready for this yes well we've

had some white claws on the table if that if that means anything we're

ready so listen things up a little bit.

But I want to start and ask you about your experience as a contestant on the voice.

So that was back in 2017.

Is that right?

Okay.

So I think it'd be really interesting. I know me especially I would like to kind of hear about some of those experiences kind of like the behind the scenes stuff. What was your favorite moment being a part of that show? I had a lot of favorite moments I think from the show. It was my first kind of step from

small town Piedmont South Carolina into full out LA land, you know TV world all that stuff. So it was all a new

experience but I had so much fun making all the friends that I made I feel like I learned so much about the industry. It was almost like a

crash course in a sense. And then also obviously getting to me all the really cool stars that came into the

picture, but I think it was really just where I got my footing as a musician in the real world so to speak so and you were team

Myley is that right? Okay, people will never let me live that down. Any fun stories with being a part of Team

Myley or helpful things that you know she was able to grace you with? I mean there was

so many things I feel like that I could relate to her on because we were somewhat close in age so that was really nice to kind of have

One somebody you watched growing up on TV can be right in front of you showing you the ropes a little bit. I love that she had a bit of a background in country music obviously with Billy Ray Sowers being her father. But I feel like she helped me grow into myself and really take leaps that I maybe wouldn't
