So yeah, this week's episode is basically rated X. And it's fitting, because in this episode, we have quite possibly the most prolific and successful adult actress, maybe ever.

There's probably not a single person in this industry that has achieved this level of longevity, output, and creative expressions to her body of work.

And to me, irrespective of what industry you might work in, it's a major achievement.

In fact, when I

heard about all our achievements, I kind of related it closely with sports and athletics. An athlete

that can sustain for this long, achieve this many trophies, and then come out a champion on top

is very rare. In the adult industry, maybe a thousand times more rare. So I knew that while on the

surface, this might seem like an odd pairing for the business of hype, I also suspected that a lot

of gems could be gleaned by having a sit down with this week's guest, the one and only, Asa Akira.

I think people probably will, at first glance of seeing this, wonder why someone in porn is on the business of hype.

Do you think it's weird too, or do you think, like, no, this makes sense?

Well, I think it makes sense because porn's been my job for the last 10 years.

So, like, to me, it's very much a business.

I think maybe when I first went into porn, I would have thought, like, yeah, what is

a porn star doing or anyone in porn doing like on a business-related anything?

Like, to me, it looked like a hobby from the outside.

The way you think, is it the way the majority of the people think in porn?

Yeah. I think it's pretty hard not to once you've been in it for a while.

But, I mean, yeah, like, I think even, even, like, escorting is a business, you know?
