I'm doing great. So we've been kind of going back and forth to try to get together because you've talked to me a little bit about how different things are where you are for atheists and well for everyone probably

and I combine that with the fact that I need a patron of the week and you fit that category so I thought we could do both things.

Oh yeah, yeah.

Sure.

So why don't you just start briefly by telling us a little bit about yourself where you're from, so everybody kind of knows?

Yeah, well, I live in the Netherlands, and that's a very small country in Europe so but with a lot of people

so we're like 60 million people in the size of well Delaware or something. Oh, wow. And, well, I, well, what more shall I tell now or you have some

more questions or? Well, okay, sure sure I'll so yeah I'll go I'll go to the questions

just in case we cover the bases a couple times so question one is have you always been an

atheist or did you lose your faith?

Uh, no, I haven't always been an atheist. I was raised, uh, Catholic.

And, um, well, uh, especially my mom she used to to bring us to church every week and I was an

older boy for quite long time and I play the organ in church. I still play the organ, but not in church.

I still play the organ but not in church and so but I think around the time my second child was born

my first daughter we baptized her but then with the second child we kind of had a

feeling well why are we doing this we're not buying this and let's just stop.

So we start.

And that just went along.

So I think I was then around 30 years old.
