I think I just have to talk about it.

I mean, it's too big of a it's too big of a thing you know it's too big of an

event to just kind of you know ignore and kind of move on from I don't want to be conspicuously silent, you know, and something like this is going on. And I guess I'll just get right into it. I really wanted to believe that a grand jury of 12 random people who would have

access to all the evidence that you know that I wouldn't have

access to and that I didn't know I just I wanted to believe that they would make the right decision

especially given all the public pressure and you know the I do

they that's a question do they have to find people who don't know anything about

the case is that still because if's true, then who in the world, what kind of people have no idea about this case?

So I don't know if that's part of it, but anyway, I'm it's I just the last thing I said some months ago was that I just

I just wanted to make sure we gave some sort of I just want to make sure we were prudent

because people were rushing to judgment based on one eyewitness who was a party to a crime that same day and that you know and that

with how unreliable witness testimony is and with how obviously biased that person would be, I just was interested in some level of caution

before just, you know, executing this guy without, you know, without any sort of trial, without any sort of trial without any sort of

view of the evidence and that that's that was the last thing I said

That was not at all an endorsement of the shooting. I hope no one took it that way. And I don't think I actually got

too much crap for that. So I think people were pretty reasonable and understood. I just

meant that before we know everything, you know, and back then we really just had like one or two witness testimony that to me it just was as a skeptic in a movement where we do nothing but talk about being skeptical relying on on science
