Okay, we've got something extra special. We have atheistically speaking first ever in the studio guest if you don't count numerous times I'm sure

my cats have made appearances in different ways Lydia hi how's it going? Pretty good. Now full disclosure, this is not the first time we've met.

No. What is three or four times? Something somewhere in there? Lydia's, uh, Lydia's my fiance, and we've met before.

And several occasions.

Yeah, that I can remember.

I couldn't put a number on it.

As I mentioned in Monday's episode, this is going to be another sort of book thingy.

I don't know what to call it. So we did, I did my first one in the portable atheist and people liked it. I'm glad I liked it too. It's fun to learn things.

But I thought it would be cool to broaden our horizons and there was a book that I remember

a Mr. Christopher Hitchin's recommending in one of his debates and it was totally just off the cuff kind of thing

But I remembered it for some reason stuck with me and so I bought it this probably I don't know a year ago and like

every other book I tried to read I just sat on the shelf because I never have time

to read them or I'm reading one and you know it's seven books down the line so I thought

Lydia has a bit of a research background now she's not a historian that I know of no

she have a secret historian life that you live during the nights.

Anyway.

The international jewel thief type, but only for historians, is what I'm trying to say so you're not that

not that I know of okay but that's what you would say so but but she does have a research background. She has a masters in experimental

psychology. She would have gotten a PhD but I actually just saw a quote.

Maybe you'll find this funny. It said a PhD is foregoing current

income for the expectation of foregoing future income. And so I thought that that sort of summarizes why you you don't aren't currently getting your PhD in in psychology would you say?
