Thomas Smith. Okay well I want to do two things a I want to say as little as

possible about the upcoming episode you're about to hear,

because I don't want to color anyone's perceptions ahead of time, but I also need to,

I need to say something, and I think it would be this.

First off, I'm not, this isn't an episode I'm exactly proud to be an atheistically speaking episode.

I will say that I, you know, it's going to be David Smalley, you've seen the title likely by now.

I did, I was very critical of David two times actually in this show and therefore I see it as an absolute

obligation to give David equal time on here to defend himself.

So there's no question about my including this as an episode.

However, if you are someone who maybe doesn't care about I don't know

atheist infighting or what I guess could be viewed as some sort of feud,

even though I don't, I wouldn't characterize it as that.

I would characterize it as I was critical of a public exchange of David Smalley with an expert and I gave my criticism on it.

And now I'm having David on to defend himself, to say what he wants to say to me and to Andrew.

So posting it is absolutely a no-brainer for me.

It needs to be done.

It would be unfair to do, to not give him his time. But I am conscious of the fact that people might view this as a boring kind of infighting among atheists. So I will say if that's how you view it, feel free to skip this one. I am

consciously not making it a two-part or even though it's very long. I'm going to

just make it one part. I don't want to draw it out

any more than it needs to be. However, I do need to note that this is full unedited audio.
