261 and I'm your host Thomas Smith. All right got a great interview today for you

but I also have a lot of things to talk about announcement wise so just some things to go through.

First you may have noticed and you will notice this week that the

episodes have been a bit longer lately. Now I don't like to do commentary

episodes that are longer than 45 minutes or so because I just am very

conscious about how long people might be interested in me but when I have a great guest I

was trying to limit the time but now I'm allowing them to go longer and I'm not doing two parters unless it's really long.

And this is because I am just so overwhelmed at the outpouring of support I've gotten on Patreon.com slash atheist and I just

wanted to make sure I'm giving back to you guys and that I'm providing plenty of content.

One thing people would always tell me when I do like a four hour interview

they'd say, oh, just releases one episode and it's like, okay, so do four times

the amount of work and editing and all that and then still need another episode for that same week.

So that's the reason why I do two-partiers from time to time is it does take that much longer

to work on it and it's a little unfair to just demand that it be one

episode and me being a two episode a week show which not many are there's a lot of

pressure to get that out however because of just how much support I've gotten, again,
