How are you doing crackus? I am doing great. We're on day three of the Thanksgiving Bender over here so I'm a little bit hung over a little bit tired but other than that everything's good.

So do you are you guys celebrating murdering a bunch of natives or is that just how we do it?

Actually, if this is something you'd want to get into later, it might not be a bad idea.

Canadians actually have a really troubled history with what we call First Nations peoples.

So I guess what is colloquially called Indians or Native Americans.

And we had this thing called residential school system which was created and funded

by the government but this was run by the Catholic and Anglican Church and

essentially it would a deduct not a deduct but take children away

from their parents moving them hundreds of kilometers away so they couldn't run away

home and try to what's the polite way saying this, they said something that the effect of basically

sort of brainwash them or something?

Yeah, try to get the native out of the native.

Oh, geez.

So they would not allow them to use their own language and this was in the

late 1990s so it's really bad no I'm just this is honestly it was up to the 90s really not a joke

oh my gosh. Why do we get such a hard time when here we have Canada just sneakily? No one notices they're still doing horrible stuff into the 90s. I tell you

It was brutal but I mean that's not why I came on the show but I'd be glad to talk about that

Yeah, it is an interesting topic not why not why you're on the show, but it's fascinating because our bigger one I'd say is Columbus Day.

I mean, Thanksgiving can still be sort of, I don't know, amicable, it's not, but Columbus Day is the one where, I have a feeling that's going away pretty soon. I don't know if you know anything about that, but...
