Tyler if you remember I had just said

that it's incredibly uninteresting and boring that the Old Testament is

basically just the Jews do something wrong and God tells him not to do it and then they do it and then they're punished and etc etc etc

and then Tyler just said well that can all be everything you just said is because of bad hermonutics or whatever so we'll see if he supports

that statement we'll find out in part two so I'm just going to go ahead and play it here

we go. So let me give you let me give you some some concrete examples you read through the

old testament you read through judges right yeah I read the whole old

testament so what did you what do you think of judges Right. Yeah, I read the whole Old Testament.

So what did you think of judges?

Um, remind me. I don't know. What do we talk about?

Judges is Israel has taken the land.

Uh, it's just when several different judges rise up and they kind of lead them for a little bit and then they keep they keep falling they keep messing up and other people keep taking over judge rise up redeem them and then they go on their merry way right right? All that kind of stuff.

Horrible book, good book, terrible book, pointless book.

That one, I think the repetitiveness was really, really boring.

I would say it's not the worst.

I would say it's somewhere in the middle in the Old Testament in terms of how bad it was in my opinion sure right so so

the entire point so if this is why Hermann Dix is important, right?

Not just understanding the genre,

but also understand the literary,
